Optimization of the centrifugal slurry pump through the splitter blades position

چکیده
Optimal transfer of two-phase solid-liquid flow (slurry flow) has long been a major industrial challenge. Slurry pumps are among the most common types centrifugal used to deal with this issue. The approach improving slurry and consequently increasing efficiency transmission system requires overcoming effects such as reduction in head, efficiency, wear. This study attempts investigate changes pump head by modifying slip factor distribution impeller channel. For purpose, effect splitter blades on improve was investigated using numerical simulation tools validated based experimental test data. Next, an optimization process determine characteristics (i.e., length, number, environmental position splitter) combination design methods, surface response, genetic algorithm. results indicate that splitters were relative circumferential 67.2% suction main blade. Also, optimal number length 6 62.8% blades, respectively. Because adding passage, best point (BEP) moved toward lower rates. result increase from 29.7 m 31.7 upkeep initial values.
